SUST-STAM Project Kick-off Meeting

On 10 April 2026, the University of Insubria hosted the kick-off meeting of SUST-STAM, an Interreg Italy–Switzerland project aimed at creating a cross-border ecosystem for regenerative medicine. The initiative brings together key partners, including FIIRV, the Swiss Stem Cell Foundation, Università del Piemonte Orientale (UPO), and HETA Res Srl, with the goal of promoting technology transfer and sustainable innovation.

Coordinated by Professor Loredano Pollegioni, the project seeks to integrate green manufacturing processes and alternative biomass sources into the stem cell sector, enhancing the competitiveness and accessibility of advanced therapies across the region.
